As with D2, still an A+ game despite being nearly 30 years old.

• legit scary dungeon crawler. you have SO few resources. might be the only ARPG where light radius mod on an item is actually good?
• lol cain charges you 100 gold to ID an item.
• took me nearly 2 hours to find my first hat. didn't find an amulet for twice that.
• i paid gold to ID an item and it made it worse, and the witch will only buy it for 1 gold. gaming in the 90s owned.
• the succubus have huge boobs and are not wearing any tops. I googled this to check if I was seeing it right and found some REAL detailed concept art.
• Blizzard PLEASE give this same treatment as the Warcraft 1 Remaster. I want nicer looking sprites and the ability to use bnet.

thank god google archives absurdly old newsgroup messages, you can still read 1997 arguments about if diablo counts as an RPG or not.
